Ted began his career in real estate 20 years ago. He was first licensed in Georgia in 1998, Florida 2000, and Wisconsin in 2001. In his early years Ted was based out of Atlanta working in commercial brokerage and quickly working himself up to manage several of the largest marquee type properties around the country. With that experience as an Asset Manager and his strong investment background from the now UBS, he naturally ventured into acquisitions and dispositions for several large private REIT’s and Government Pension Funds.
He recently has been working in commercial real estate brokerage services while keeping his focus on investment properties. While being a guest speaker on several panels around the country, He literally has 1031 exchange books written from some of his seminars. Ted was responsible for closing $3 billion per year worth of real estate. He has worked in the trenches for years and knows what it takes to find a good property and has experienced several different market cycles.
Ted is driven by working closely with a very select group of high net worth investors. Ted has vast commercial real estate knowledge and has been involved in transactions with values over $880M. He has held licenses in; GA, TX, FL, and WI. Ted co-founded Nyla Group, LLC back in 2009. Since starting in real estate he has closed over $18 billion and has completed transactions in over (35) states. Ted has an exceptional track record with his clients investing in commercial real estate, Net Lease Properties, Medical, Shopping Centers, and Office Properties. He has long been known by many in the industry as the go to person for those investors seeking 1031 Exchange replacement properties.
Ted graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL in 1992. He spends most of his time free time with his wife Amber and their German Shephard dog named Summer. Ted enjoys; traveling, working in his yard, boating, playing pickleball, and spending time with his family.
